Easy and Secure Gripping from the Inside
ASS expands the Robot-Hand-Kit (EOAT) by two new ID expansion grippers. New to the Robot-Hand-Kit (EOAT) are the Coated ID Expansion Gripper IGP EP and the ID Expansion Gripper IGC. Both are available in several sizes.
Coated ID Expansion Gripper IGP EP
The ID Expansion Gripper IGP EP are made from Polyamide and are extreme light weight. The jaws have an elastomer-polyurethane (EP) coating and a Shore A hardness of 60. The jaws are soft-coated and thus boast an improved friction coefficient offering secure hold even with sensitive materials and smooth surfaces. The EP coating is highly abrasion-proof, wear-resistant, surface-precise, slip-resistant, and LABS and silicone-free.
The IGP EP are available with clamping diameters 14 and 20 millimeters and with a grip range of 10 to 50 millimeters. A query (basic or working position) is optional by a sensor. You can use IGP EP in a temperature range from -40°C to +80°C.
The IGP is compatible with the ASS Robot-Hand-Kit (EOAT) and can easily be integrated into the EOAT. The IGP EP also covers all applications of classical IGP with uncoated jaws.
ID Expansion Gripper IGC
For completing the ASS Robot-Hand-Kit (EOAT) we present the ID Expansion Gripper IGC at K Show, which is especially suited for gripping small diameters. Twelve different sizes ranging from gripping diameters 8.5 to 105 millimeters.
All new ID expansion grippers are compatible to the ASS Robot-Hand-Kit (EOAT) and can be easily integrated in your custom end-of-arm-tooling solution.
More new gripper components will be shown at K Show 2016:
The main focus is on gripper parts that can be implemented in the injection moulding industry in many ways and can especially be used to handle flexible materials and fiber-reinforced plastics (FRP). The new gripper parts fit perfectly in the robot end-of-arm tooling erector kit (EOAT) and can be combined with existing components.
We are looking forward to seeing you at booth 10/J22 in hall 10.
